Our Error-Proofing Business Processes course is based on a different model than our Mistake-Proof It! course designed for manufacturing operations. The manufacturing version (Mistake-Proof It!) focuses on mistake-proofing how a person-machine interaction can be made more robust, thereby eliminating recurring mistakes. The office version (Error-Proofing Business Processes) focuses on error-proofing server-customer transactions to improve the experience for customers while improving the internal efficiency and effectiveness for the “serving” organization. (Note that we have purposely differentiated the courses by using “mistake-proofing” for the manufacturing-oriented course and “error-proofing” for the transactional course to error-proof our internal course management process.)
